PATH and UNICEF believe strongly that death and hospitalization due to dehydration can be significantly reduced through renewed attention to diarrheal disease control.

In partnership with the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, PATH's Rotavirus Vaccine Program aims to reduce child morbidity and mortality from diarrheal disease by accelerating the availability of rotavirus vaccines appropriate for use in developing countries.
